Musique, Food & Fun non-stop from 7 :00 PM till midnight / Free entry to the Festival at all times
At the Marché : 10 American chefs and 10 French chefs, assisted by students of the Hotel Schools of Burgundy, will offer delicious tastings of their national specialties at reasonable prices. The tasting are offered at a unique price; 3 euros. So you can taste 3 star food for 3 euros!
There are 60 stands in all of regional products and specialties to discover.
From Burgundy : wines, beers, charcuterie, mustards, oils, breads, Charolais Beef…
From Vermont : Raw Milk cheeses, maple syrup, Eden Ice Cider, Wild Food Gatherers Guild.
At Place François Rude : Free concerts by the Kirk Lightsey Quartet, Patrick Fitzsimmons, and the Éric Prost Trio... A jam session with all the musicians will conclude the evening’s festivities on stage. Other musicians will be playing around the festival throughout the evening.
Sunday, July 12th
Musique, Food & Fun non-stop from 11:00 AM till 7:00 PM/ Free entry to the Festival at all times
At Place François Rude : The gospel group, SingAll will open the festivities with a rousing wake up call. Sarah Morrow and her Electric Air Band will kick off the concerts on stage...Musicians will be playing all around the festival and then a jam session with all the musicians will conclude the evening’s festivities on stage.
At the Marché : The French and American chefs will prepare new specialties for the festival goers. There will be the stands of regional products from Burgundy and Vermont for everyone to enjoy. Beginner’s workshops in French and English, and introductory music workshops given by the students and teachers of Dijon’s music schools will be offered to the festival goers for free.
Inside the covered market : Cooking demonstrations will be held inside Les Halles (the covered market) at Noon, 2:00PM, 4:00 PM and 6:00PM. (Reservations should be made in advance.) An American chef and a French chef will work together and concoct unique recipes using typical ingredients from each country. Carinne Teyssandier of Cuisine TV and Télématin-France 2 will be hosting this fun-filled event.
